We Are IMGs
A global collective of international medical students & graduates united by one belief:
Health is a Human Right
Join the Movement WATCH OUR VIDEO
By 2030 the World Health Organization projects a shortfall of 11 million health workers, leaving millions without care. Across one world, International Medical Graduates are stepping forward. United as one community and guided by one calling, we are building a movement to turn global talent into local impact and advance health equity everywhere.
We believe...
Medicine is a calling to serve humanity.
Opportunity in medicine should reflect talent, not privilege.
Every student deserves equal access to medical education.
Health is a human right.
If you share this truth, you are already one of us.
Turning Belief Into Action
Our three pillars empower IMGs to learn, serve, and lead systemic change in global healthcare.

Medical Education
Mission: Democratize medical education
Our mission is to democratize medical education by breaking down barriers for IMGs. We provide free access to resources, programs, opportunities, and experiences such as USMLE preparation, mentorship, clinical rotations, and medical research that are critical to successfully advancing in a medical career.
Open the Door to Opportunity
Humanitarian Service
Mission: Advance health equity
Medicine is more than knowledge, it is service. Through the Unity Agent program and community health initiatives, IMGs bring care to vulnerable communities by volunteering in free clinics, supporting underserved patients, and leading health campaigns where care is needed most.
Serve Where It Matters Most
Legislative Advocacy
Mission: Expand pathways to licensure
We advance systemic change so IMGs can fulfill their calling. Through licensure reform, visa modernization, and workforce inclusion, we are shaping the future of medicine. By working with stakeholders, we prove that IMGs are essential to solving the physician shortage and advancing health equity.
Break Barriers With UsOne World, United in Purpose
Across borders and beyond barriers, IMGs are weaving one story of service, unity, and health for all.

One Story, Every Story
Each IMG story strengthens our collective story, and united we are building the future of medicine.
My WHY
Dr. Onyekachi Emmanuel Anyagwa - IMG (Georgia)
"Becoming a physician is not merely a career choice for me; it's a profound commitment fueled by a convergence of personal experiences and a fervent desire for change. I am determined to be a driving force in transforming the healthcare landscape of Nigeria and beyond, embodying the change I wish to see in the world."

My WHY
Dr. Diego Neira-Crespo - Resident (Ecuador)
"The impact I can have, and the lives I can change. My choice to become a physician is an inspiration, an embodiment of my unwavering commitment to humanity."

My WHY
Dr. Kendya Reyes - IMG (Dominican Republic)
“

My WHY
Dr. Beatriz Montecinos - IMG (Mexico)
"I have always been amazed by so many things, such as: the mechanism in an airplane that can make it fly. In the same way, I marvel at how the human body works with a perfectly synchronized “mechanism.” I am passionate about being able to understand how it works and having the opportunity to analyze what happens when it fails, and thus be able to help and serve others."

My WHY
Dr. Abhirami Babu - M6 (Philippines)
"In the grand scheme of life, meaningful connections are paramount." This sentiment from Paul Kalanithi's memoir, "When Breath Becomes Air," deeply resonates with my journey and my resolute decision to embark on the path of becoming a physician."

My WHY
Gahna Adaval - Public Health Professional
"For me, “why” begins with the belief that health is not only measured by test results or diagnoses, but by the connections we create, the dignity we uphold, and the opportunities we share to live fully. Illness is never just individual—it touches families, communities, and generations."

My WHY
Dr. Henry Sankoh - IMG (Sierra Leone)
"Coming from Sierra Leone, I was exposed to human suffering and deaths, poor health service conditions in health care, at a very young age. I developed the empathy and passion of becoming a medical doctor as the way to close the gap of human suffering and unnecessary death in my society with a doctor to patients ratio of 3:100,000."

My WHY
Dr. Jose Carlos Del Castillo - IMG (Peru)
