Employment & Workforce
International Medical Graduates are medically trained professionals prepared to contribute meaningfully to healthcare systems across the United States. The Employment & Workforce Pillar of Project IMG exists to advance their professional integration by aligning their education, clinical training, and global experience with healthcare organizations seeking qualified talent. By building structured pathways into meaningful careers, we help ensure that medically trained professionals are positioned where they are needed most.
Our Mission
To serve as a trusted workforce intermediary and professional representative for IMGs, advancing their integration into healthcare careers where their education, training, and experience are fully recognized and valued. Through structured workforce development, ethical employer partnerships, and scalable placement pathways, we strengthen health systems and expand access to care in underserved communities across the United States.
How We Help
- Foundational Level - We focus on building a strong pipeline that supports real introductions and measurable placements. We help members become employment ready, align them with the right opportunities, and connect qualified candidates with employer partners through a clear and professional process.
- Employment Readiness Review - We review your CV, clinical background, work authorization status, and career goals to determine your best fit pathway and readiness for employer consideration.
- Role Alignment - We help you identify roles that match your training and near term objectives, including licensed physician pathways when eligible and healthcare career roles that value medical education and clinical experience.
- Employer Introductions - When alignment exists, we facilitate professional introductions to employer partners through a structured process. This is not an open job board. Introductions are based on readiness, eligibility, and employer demand.
- Interview Preparation Guidance - We provide practical guidance to strengthen interview performance, professional communication, and employer expectations.
- Placement Follow Through and Tracking - We support coordination through the hiring process and track outcomes to strengthen the pipeline, improve matching, and expand opportunities over time.
